The gin is made by macerating a blend of 10 different botanicals (Juniper, Coriander, Lemon Peel, Orris Root, Almonds, Cassia Bark, Cubeb Berries, Grains of Paradise, Angelica Root and Liquorice) in neutral spirit, then distilling the mixture. The gin is known for its smooth and complex flavour profile, with a strong juniper taste and a balance of botanicals, it has a hint of spice, fruit, and floral notes. It is typically served as a gin and tonic, or in a variety of cocktails. The brand is considered one of the best-known and most popular gins in the world. It is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) or 80 proof.
